Modern Family building options for lesbian and gay couples

Western Fertility Institute is honored to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender individuals and couples build the family of their dreams. Our team is here to guide you through every step of the process.

Gay couples

For same-sex male couples, once you meet with the physician you will be able to discuss the details of using and egg donor and surrogate. You will also discuss which partner will be using his sperm and the process of semen analysis testing.
Although Western Fertility Institute does not recruit surrogates or egg donors, we are here to guide you in the process of finding reputable agencies and attorneys who we feel are more than qualified and will help to make your journey of building a family a positive experience.

Lesbian couples

For same-sex female couples, once you meet with the physician you will be able to discuss if one partner will provide the egg and the other partner will carry the pregnancy or if one partner will provide the egg and carry the pregnancy altogether. Most lesbian couples have already chosen a known sperm donor prior to coming to our facility. Should you need anonymous donor sperm, Western Fertility Institute is here to guide you in the process of finding reputable anonymous donor sperm agencies and who we feel are more than qualified and will help to make your journey of building a family a positive experience.
